Another brother has fallen... RIP Sinisa Egelja. Sin was a shredding skater from Oz and a super funny dude who made it big in the States as shoe designer at Airwalk in the 90s. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.

DEKLINE footwear flow rider Clint Walker killed it all weekend at the Volcom Damn Am comp in Costa Mesa California this past weekend, did anyone watch the live feed? Anyways Clint came away with second place - well done...

The Irrom team consisting of Justin Keeley and Bill Bycroft were out training hard this weekend for a new event at this year's Nationals: "synchronized skating". By the looks of this pic they gots dat shit in da bag.
On hand to document the synchronization was Sydney transplant skater/photographer extraordinaire Rene Vaile, in town for his show at Plaything Gallery (opposite the Kings Arms), Newton this Thursday night at 6pm. At time of comment he wasn't sure if there was gonna be free beers, "I dunno you gotta ask my agent."

Manukau City Council is working furiously to get a $600,000 skatepark built in Barry Curtis Park by May next year. Tim from Boardertown and Mark from Cheapskates Manukau are on the Technical Advisory Group and are working hard to make sure this park is amazing.... Check out this link and vote! There is also a facebook group (search Barry Curtis skatepark) to give feedback.
Hopefully we are going to start working on actual plans in the next few weeks once the focus of the park is decided!

Morri and Shiree just got back from the Crossroads and ASR trade shows in the USA. Cheers to the guys at ASR (Class) for the airfare and accommodation, it was much appreciated. One of the best shows in years, the class setup up was amazing ! Good work Jim.
Saw a cool super limited DEKLINE/WU-TANG Belmont collab coming soon - pretty sick.
Went down to Tijuana for the day, shit was pretty crazy to say the least. Not many tourists around after the recent drug cartel's beheadings.
Then went by the new Venice Beach park which was completely finished but had a fence around it...
Oh well, plenty of other crazy things to check out anyway. Especiallly the dude with two snakes.

The new DELUXE catalog is up on the web! Part 1 of 4 is up and the other parts will be updated over the coming weeks. There is a bunch of cool products, video and pics. REAL is up first, they have a new series out based on video games from the 80s. Super cool series, and there are online games that coincide with each pro's graphic. Up at the moment is Hillbomber (Dennis Busenitz) and Border Jumper (Ernie Torres)... Click!
Morri is at the Crossroads trade show in the States right now and stopped by the DEATHWISH "Strip Club" booth, where they had a sample of the Cheapskates NZ collab deck - which was looking very tight I must say, as were a few other things!
